Location
The New Dolmen Hotel is situated in the northern part of the Island, overlooking the Mediterranean Sea.The hotel is built on the site of and incorporating an authentic neolithic temple, has heart stopping magnificient views of St Paul's Bay and St Paul's Islands, and is within easy walking distance of extensive shopping and colourful entertainment.Malta International Airport is 18 km away - 25 minutes by taxi. The Hotel
The New Dolmen Hotel derives its name from the 'Dolmen' which is the archaeological remains situated in the hotel's garden, and around which the hotel is built. The 4-star Gold New Dolmen Hotel consists of 380 bedrooms and 2 junior suites located on five floors. Its several outdoor facilities, extensive terraces and gardens make it one of the largest hotel complexes on the Island.
All bedrooms and suites, are fully air-conditioned, centrally heated, and have their own private bathroom, direct dialing telephone, satellite television with radio channels, hair dryer, safe, mini-bar (on request) and the majority have a balcony.
The hotel's general facilities include a Casino, Restaurants, Cocktail Bar, Cafe (open 24 hrs.), Beach Bar and Restaurant,Wet Bar (summer only), newspaper / souvenir shop and car park. Dry-cleaning and laundry services are also provided. Sports and relaxation facilities include four outdoor swimming pools (including one for children), two tennis courts and a squash court.
There is a Leisure Center which includes an indoor pool (heated in winter), Jacuzzi, sauna, Chinese massage and a mini gymnasium.
