This gem of a hotel first opened its doors in August 2002 under the name Antonine Hotel & Spa. Since 1st April 2003 it has been running under the management of the German MARITIM Hotel group and guests are now greeted by the MARITIM logo of the three sails. The hotel is built in a Maltese style with the colours and natural materials of the island. The style of the hotel mirrors the development of Maltese architecture throughout the ages. Stylish and spacious rooms, elegantly furnished in warm Mediterranean colours, invite you to feel at home instantly. Friendly and helpful staff is always happy to assist the guests in a professional manner, creating an atmosphere of comfort with a Mediterranean touch.
The Maritim Antonine & Spa, in the north of the island is situated on the terraced hillsides of the village of Mellieha. The view stretches across the green fields in the valled to the sandy bay of Mellieha and the deep blue sea of the Mediterranean beyond.
Amongst several facilities the hotel rooms are equipped with direct telephone line, air-conditioning, mini bar, satellite TV, safe (free of charge), coffee/team making facilities and most of the rooms have also balconies.
The Aphrodite Spa located on its own floor, with direct elevator access. The facilities within our Spa include a saltwater hydrotherapy pool, Jacuzzi, gymnasium, private therapy rooms, solarium, sauna and steam bath. The Spa offers a large selection of therapies, ranging from medical, such as physiotherapy, lymph drainage & osteopathy, to luxurious relaxation treatments (hot stone, Tibetan pebble, chocolate full body massage, thalassic facials, etc.). We also have traditional Eastern Treatments including acupuncture, Chinese massage and Ayurveda treatments to help you to balance mind, body and soul.
