The Moire Restaurant • Elegant and yet informal, The Moire' is the main Hotel restaurant, with a seating capacity of approximately 300 persons. This restaurant was refurbished in January 2000 with the primary aim of creating a more intimate atmosphere. For this purpose seating booths have been set us as well as a central partition offering guests privacy and intimacy. The restaurant which is open for breakfast, lunch and dinner is a totally non smoking restaurant , and for this purpose a smokers' lounge has been positioned just outside the restaurant. A dress code is enforced during dinner times.
Meals in this restaurant are Buffet style offering a tempting variety of quality regional fare, which would impress even the most discerning clients . Buffets have recently been extended, to cater for a wider selection offered to our clients.
The hot and cold buffet breakfast apart from a vast array of dishes also includes a wide variety of diet products for the more health conscious. For dinner, the buffet service offers a variety of themed cuisine, which includes a number of vegetarian options and carvery on most evenings.
A must for any family is our Sunday Carvery lunches which are very reasonably priced to suit family budgets.
Our kitchen brigade led by Head Chef Simon Borg would be more then pleased to cater for any specific dietary requests made by our clients. The Moire restaurant service team, led by Restaurant Manager Charles Grima, will ensure that our clients will have the best possible dining experience.
Trattoria Calico • For those preferring a more personal style of service, the Trattoria Calico, which is open daily in the evening, is an alternative dining facility to all our hotel guests. Traditional Italian foods are served in this restaurant emphasising the quality yet simplistic style of Mediterranean cuisine. A variety of antipastos, salads, pasta, deep pan and thin crust pizzas, apart from the Chef's daily specialities are on offer.
The Trattoria Calico which is very popular with our local clientele is the ideal venue for families or group of friends, who seek to have a good time without burning a hole in their pocket. Discount schemes for our in house clients and our loyal customers are available in this outlet.
The Lacey's Pub • Certainly a drinking hole with a difference !!
The Lacey's Pub features a maritime theme, and an antique 13 metre long rowing boat adorns the ceiling. As one would expect the pub offers a wide range of local and foreign beer mostly on draught, a range of alcoholic and non alcoholic cocktails, a variety of free bar snacks and a choice of pub food. The pub hosts regular live entertainment and is equipped with a big screen, featuring a number of popular events.
Algadon 24 Hour Internet Cafeteria • This outlet is an informal yet smart and comfortable facility. The cafeteria which is open on a 24 hour basis offers Internet facilities, alongside some other pastime electronic devices.
Being ideally located adjacent to the reception lobby, the cafeteria offers a variety of hot and cold beverages, snacks, ice-cream and scrumptious pastries most of which are freshly baked in the outlet itself.
Without a doubt this outlet is an optimal meeting place for a coffee with friends, while sitting in one of the outlet's terraces seeing the world go by or even checking out your e-mail messages.
Cashmere Lounge and Terrace • The Hotel Santana currently offers a choice of two conference and meeting facilities, the Paisley Room and the Cashmere Lounge. Both facilities are available for banqueting, and are equipped with video projection, fax and internet connections. Other conference equipment can also be catered for. The hotel specialises in the small conference and meeting market where more individual attention is given to our clients. Definitely a case of hospitality over mass.
The Cashmere Lounge which on the other hand is located on the top floor, seating a maximum of 125 persons theatre style, is optimal for banqueting with its own lounge bar and open view terraces.
A number of smaller syndicate rooms and secretarial services are also available.
The Paisley Room • The Hotel Santana currently offers a choice of two conference and meeting facilities, the Paisley Room and the Cashmere Lounge.
