The Silent City of Mdina…a gem of architecture and history …originally built by the Romans, fortified by the Arabs, influenced by the Aragonese, ignored by the Knights, plundered by the French, adored by the Maltese nobility, and protected by the peasants…a history as old as Malta.
After meeting your bi-lingual guide at the hotel you will be transported to the outer walls of the fortified Mdina. From there you will step into the past and discover the legends and mysteries of the Silent City of Mdina.
Afterwards, your tour will continue with a visit to the multimedia show Tales of the Silent City, within the restored Palazzo Gatto Murina. After the show you can browse the gift shop within the palace, and view the many Maltese traditional craft products such as filigree, lace and glass.
