Total Immersion ®
The fastest and most effective way of learning a new language. Five days a week from morning through evening you'll speak, hear and think only in your new language, even during lunch which will be provided by Berlitz. Since you'll practice in a one-to-one situation your progress will be rapid and your instructor will focus on the terminology that you require to communicate effectively in your business or educational situation. One lesson every day will be a double lesson where you will be taught by 2 teachers simultaneously.

Individual instruction
The major advantage of this type of course is that your are the only student, so you'll learn at your own pace. The instruction can be customized to accommodate your business and/or social needs. With this type of course you have the choice of a full-day or half-day courses.

Semi-Private Instruction
This course is limited to two or three people so you'll have the opportunity to practice with other students and make new friends at the same time. By sharing an instructor you'll enjoy the economy of studying in a small group while enjoying many of the advantages of individual instruction.

Group Instruction
If you want to share your learning experience with other people then enroll in one of our group courses. We offer scheduled programs for four or more individuals depending on which type of group instruction you choose with the largest group never exceeding 15 students. Berlitz will ensure you are placed in a group that's compatible with your language level.

Levels of Proficiency
Instead of using the traditional classification of Beginner, Intermediate and Advanced to classify our students, we use 12 categories. This system enables us to monitor your progress more accurately.
Course books and material
Depending on your proficiency level and type of instruction you require Berlitz will recommend course material that you will use during the lessons and during your private home study. This material, which normally includes a student reader and optional audio cassettes, is specifically designed for the Berlitz student and is used in connection with live instruction in a Berlitz classroom. As you progresses through the programme, periodic assignments are given by the instructor for work, with either the Student Reader or audio cassettes.
CD ROM and Multimedia Technology
Besides having our own course books and material we at Berlitz make extensive use of CD ROM and Multimedia technology. These computer programs are specifically designed for the Berlitz student and will serve to reduce review time in class. This means that you will learn more new material and, consequently, your progress will be much faster.
