Sample Winter Programme

The following is a sample programme, which can be adjusted to your preferences and schedule. Programme may also need to be adjusted depending on weather, public holidays, flight timings, etc. Might we recommend you to browse through the rest of this web site, for any alternate activity or attraction you might want to include in your holiday.

Day 1. Arrival at Malta International Airport, where you will be greeted by our multi-lingual representative. You will then be taken to your hotel in a luxury air-conditioned coach, on the way absorbing a little of Malta's everyday life. More details...

Day 2. On this first complete day of your visit, you will be astounded by some of the most exquisite architectural, artistic and historical heritage on the Island.

You will visit places such as the legendary Mosta Dome - the third largest in the world and the main theme of a heart-stopping urban legend, and the traditional crafts village where you will witness the making of the oldest crafts in Malta, such as filigree and glass blowing. This is also an excellent opportunity to get some traditional Maltese souvenirs for home.

After lunch in a local restaurant, it's time to walk within the fortified and glorified walls of the Silent City of Mdina, including a visit to the majestic St Paul's Cathedral. More details...

Day 3. After a delicious buffet breakfast at your hotel, you are welcome to join on a half-day visit to the legendary fortified city of Valletta, concluded by the multi-vision multi-language show The Malta Experience. You will be accompanied by a local professional guide, who will take you through the treasures of this magnificent fortress city - a city built by gentlemen for gentlemen. More details...

Day 4. This day is spent at one's own leisure. On the other hand, our representative is available to recommend any places you might be interested in visiting.

In the evening, we recommend a night tour of the Maltese Islands, where you will have the opportunity of seeing this island of history and romance, from a complete different perspective. More details...

Day 5. You cannot say you've been to Malta, without paying a visit to the unique and mysterious pre-historic temples. On today's full day guided tour, you will be visiting 3 such temples, including Ghar Dalam (Cave of Darkness) - one of the earliest sites used by Neolithic man, who crossed to the Maltese islands from Sicily around 5000BC.

You will also visit Marsaxlokk, one of the few remaining typical old fashion fishing villages in Malta, where time seems to stop and tradition is more enduring than modern day commerce. This relaxing and entertaining day also includes lunch in a local restaurant, and time for an enjoyable boat ride within the amazing cave system of Blue Grotto. More details...

Day 6. The day is spent at one's own leisure. Might we recommend you to take a small ferry crossing to Malta' sister island, Gozo - the Isle of Calypso. Here you will have the opportunity to visit other historical sites, such as the Citadel, and the Ggantija Temples. Don't forget to pick up some Gozitan traditional wine and some goat cheese. More details...

Maybe you prefer to do some shopping in one of the many modern shopping complexes with various retail outlets carrying the latest brands. Or maybe you want something more traditional, something more relaxing, such as the market of Valletta or Marsaxlokk, where everything is sold and any price can be bargained...but still done the traditional way.

Day 7. Today you can spend the time at your own leisure. Of course, our representative will be available to recommend various places you can visit. Maybe you would like to go for a relaxing walk and have a coffee along the Marsamxetto Harbour, or go on a short cruise around Malta's natural harbours. You decide what you want to do today.

In the evening, on your last day in our Islands, you are invited to a night of exquisite food, traditional dancing and music, and folklore celebrations. No other event symbolises better the warm and colourful welcome of the Mediterranean than this Folklore Evening. More details...

Day 8. Check-out from the hotel and transfer in luxury air-conditioned coach to Malta International Airport. Our representative will be with you to assist in your departure.
